So yesterday I spent the entire day at the hospital getting tested. My stomach hurt so badly that I had no idea what else to do.

My supervisor took me to a small clinic, but they couldn’t figure out what was wrong and quickly sent me to a bigger hospital. I went through test after test until they finally told me that my pain was caused by stress.

I took the day off today and just relaxed, but now I feel like I have a head cold.

Stress is so annoying. Why do I stress myself out so much? Why do I feel the need to compare myself to others or tell myself that things aren’t going to work out when I know full and well that they will and always do.

I am going to try to relax more. I know there are people I can rely on. I just need to find more ways to relax and show myself that I’m amazing and I don’t need to worry about what will come next. I have a big future planned out for myself, and I don’t need to ruin it by doubting myself.

Basically it’s just telling my friends why I had to go to the hospital and about how stress has been giving me grief lately. Living in a foreign country is tough, and living alone is tough, and working at a job you’ve never been trained to do before is tough. Sometimes I just need to breath.

I finished Ender’s Game and Hidamari no Kanojo this weekend. I also bought a Kindle Paperwhite. That thing is my new baby. I love it. I will post more about it and do a book haul again soon. I started reading The Book Thief but I need some lighter reading… I’ve thought about buying Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell on my Kindle.
